Mike Bysh MCIOB 

As the Principle in the company, Phil Rigotti has a BSc (Hons) in Building Engineering, is an associate of the Association of Building Engineers and has acquired a comprehensive background within the construction industry over 35 years. Working in a variety of sectors prior to establishing the company in 2002, this has involved previous directorship and managerial responsibility for up to 20 staff and 11m turnover.

Previous experience includes working in architectural design and engineering drawing, reinforced concrete substructures and formwork, concrete and steel frame, domestic / commercial and industrial flooring systems, main contracting / general construction / design & build, engineered timber products, timber frame and SIPS.

Project sizes, values and responsibilities have varied depending on the activity and scope of each development. These have involved schemes up to 25m including commercial / office development, industrial / warehousing, 60 - 120 bed nursing homes, flats, schools and housing.

By specialising over many years in various products, systems and services within the construction process, invaluable background knowledge has been gleaned in different sectors including industrial, commercial and domestic construction methods. These contribute to a better understanding of solutions for the project management work currently undertaken.



Initially trained as a quantity surveyor with a main contractor, Mike Bysh has been working in the construction industry for almost 37 years. As a Chartered Builder, having obtained full membership of The Chartered Institute of Building, Mike has been employed principally in general construction / main contracting and construction management.

The rolls and responsibilities with various companies have been diverse over the years, depending on the principle activity of the organisation. These have inevitably included project management both in new build and refurbishment and remodelling of various existing buildings including listed buildings, social housing, private & commercial developments, hostels, offices and libraries etc.

Projects have varied in size and complexity to values exceeding 50m, establishing considerable experience in a number of management rolls, from project managing individual projects to managing director of a well respected Hertfordshire based main contractor with 30 staff and a 12m turnover in 1999.
